If you are looking for a way that is fast fashion for your room, hence using wall stickers are such a great option as you can apply them in less than an hour and you can remove them without scratching the wall.
Besides that, wall stickers have the ability to add a tonne of personality to a room without costing the earth. In fact, most wall stickers will only set you back a few pounds/dollars and if you have them printed professionally (by a company specialising in sticker printing), they will look absolutely fantastic.
Now, you have two options when it comes to wall stickers. you can purchase a sticker that has already been designed and that has a generic, non-customised design, or you can design and print your own wall sticker that can literally feature any design you like.
Obviously, designing your own sticker might sound like a tough job, especially if you’re struggling for ideas in terms of the design, so I thought I'd round up a list of some of my personal favourite wall sticker designs to help give you some inspiration.
As you can see from the stickers I've showcased in this post, wall stickers can breathe new life into a room. They can literally take a room from being dull and boring to being a more inviting place to spend time in.
There are a lot of beautiful sticker designs already on the market but personally, I think designing your own wall sticker is the best option, especially if you want your personality to shine through in the room that you’re looking to place it in.

How To Make A Ombre Purple Necklace
Hi! I see this article from Ayla's blog and find it's very interesting! So I wanto to share this article with all of you!
Lets begin our journey ...
I really like the trend and it’s very simple to make your own necklace.
Supplies:
-Wooden beads. (You can find them at Michaels or any other craft shop)
-Acrylic Paint: white and then another color (I used purple but you can use any color)
-paintbrushes
-chain or cord (I used a leather cord)
-skewers or chopsticks
-spray paint clear gloss (optional)
I purchased some wooden beads that had faces on them. JoAnn Fabrics had a sale for like 50 cents. Since I didn’t want the face to show up under the actual paint I did a coat of white paint as a primer.
Using wooden skewers or chopsticks makes it really easy to paint the bead. I had some Styrofoam laying around so I used that to stick the skewer so they can dry mid-air.
I took a paper plate and made several spots of the dark paint. This made it easier for me to compare colors.
At first I was going to do 6 different shades of purple but then I decided to just do 2 dark purple, 2 semi-light purple, and then 2 really light purple.
I played around with different shades before I settled down onto a color I liked.
I then painted the beads and let the dry for a while. After the beads were dry to touch I used a spray paint clear gloss to make them a bit shiny. This optional but it adds a nice finished touch to the bead. After the beads are all dry you can put them on the cord and you’re all done!
If you want a very quick necklace you can simply just tie the cord around your neck but if you want something a little more professional and finished you can use a lobster clasp, jump rings, and some crimp cord claps. All of these can be found at JoAnn Fabrics or Michaels.
Once you add clasps then you are really all set!

A touching story: Purple Shoes and Pink Shoelaces
“I’d get purple shoes with pink shoelaces,” the doctor said with a dry tone of indifference. He continued, “Your daughter won’t walk anyhow”. My wife was shaken.
We had just moved to Baltimore in 1982 from Ann Arbor, Michigan and immediately began locating new doctors to care for our 2-year-old daughter, Debbie, who had just been diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
My wife, Barbara, and I were just beginning to realize the potential impact of raising a daughter with serious disabilities. High on the list of medical concerns was the need for a good orthopedist to advise us of the affects our daughter’s disability would have on her motor development and muscle tone.
My wife took our daughter to a highly recommended orthopedic surgeon who examined our daughter. After his examination, my wife asked with concern, “Should we see about getting special shoes?” The doctor had blurted out his careless reply and his words cut deeply. The thoughtlessness in his response had revealed to her the prospect of a disability no one had yet predicted for our daughter. No one had ever told us Debbie might never walk.
After recovering from the incident, we began looking for an orthopedist that could help us deal with our daughter’s physical needs but in a more compassionate manner. We both took Debbie to a second orthopedist. After the doctor completed examining her, we again asked about a need for special shoes. The doctor answered, “Because she won’t be bearing weight on her feet right now, you don’t have to worry about special shoes. I think you should buy the prettiest little pair of shoes that you can find.” His compassion and concern for our pain was evident, and we left the doctor's office encouraged.
Barb and I later discussed how both doctors had said essentially the same thing, but the critical difference was in the way it was said, and the compassion and sensitivity in it’s delivery.
The Scriptures indicate that the way we say things, as well as the content of our words can have a significant impact on others. “Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Our words can be pleasant and bring healing to others. Carefully spoken, they can be a work of beauty. Not only our spoken words, but also our silence can speak much compassion, rather than a rash remark. This silence of self-control and compassion is a sign of wisdom.
Because our sinful nature is not inclined toward compassion and interest in others, we must rely on the Spirit of God to control our mind and tongue – if our speech is to bring healing and beauty. Untamed by the Spirit, our speech can be like a spark that starts a destructive fire, or a toxic poison that destroys a life. Rather than spreading healing and beauty, untamed conversation can bring hurt and pain. In fact, James indicated that the control of our conversation is one outward measure of our inward spirituality. Paul encouraged Timothy to display his faith in this sequence: “in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity”. Paul recognized that Timothy’s conversation was the first visible evidence of his inward spiritual condition.
Let us today commit our tongue and the conversation of our lives to bringing healing and beauty to others – revealing to them the love of God expressed by our lives. This will bring blessing to others, and it will bring joy to us!
“A man finds joy in giving an apt reply-- and how good is a timely word!”.

Who says the nature is green? The purple nature is magnificent too
People always refer to the good environment as green world, however, I say, maybe the purple world is more stunning as long as you have a chance to see it. Today, let me take you to a purple nature tour.
What a beautiful purple Lily of the Valley. Won’t you love it?
The Purple beach! Who says only the white sand beach is the most precious? I say the purple beach is truly heaven like.
Did you see a purple sunset? That’s the moment we praise to the Mother Nature!
Don’t you think the purple flower is more elegant? It adds a more tranquility and delicate favor to the flourishing spring.
And the purple leaves.
Last but not the least! Who can say no to the Provence Lavender!
About Lavender..
"A walk through a field of blooming lavender is a stroll that is never forgotten"!
Fields that are terraced, sewn into a patchwork quilt of vineyards and fields of épautre. Want to hear the bees happily buzz as you walk down a row dense with the heady scent of fresh lavender?
The lavender fields around Mt. Ventoux (Avignon is the closest large town) are in bloom mid June to mid July normally. Down in the Luberon you can see them a little earlier, up on the Plateau de Valensole as late as August.
Itching for the purple nature? Why not grab the gardening tool to grow yourself a piece of purple in the backyard? It sure could add a magnificent color to your life.

Men Wearing Purple More Likely To Stand A Chance With ladies
This just in: men wearing purple are more likely to land a British gal.
Yup, you read that correctly. According to a new study by a British laundry detergent brand My Ariel, guys who opt for the royal hue are more likely stand a chance with the ladies. The company polled 2000 Brits to find out just how important clothes are in the dating world. As expected, the ladies were significantly pickier with 28 percent of women and 14 percent of men admitting to declining a date with someone because they weren't into their clothes. Ouch!
When it comes to color, purple reigned supreme in women's eyes (meaning: 36 percent of women accepted dates from a man wearing a purple shirt), but black shirts came in second place with 36 percent of women accepting dates. The worst colors for men to wear according to women? Blue or pink, garnering a mere 11 percent and 6 percent of positive responses respectively.
The study also found that 58 percent of the respondents considered dress sense the primary factor when looking for a partner, and 43 percent demanded that their partner change their clothes because they were embarrassed to be seen with them. A bit harsh, no? Maybe this is what Kanye was thinking when he decided to attend Paris Fashion Week without Kim Kardashian...
This study definitely got us thinking about how clothes factor into our dating lives. While we love a guy who owns his personal style, we can't say that we're inherently drawn to dudes in lavender ourselves. (Different strokes for different folks though, right?) Also, we'd like to think fashion sense doesn't play that big of a role for us, but we're willing to concede that there's a lot of subconscious filtering that goes on every time we meet a guy.
What do you think of these results? How big of a role do clothes play in your dating life? Are you more likely to accept a man's advances if he's wearing purple?

Purple Sunglasses Make Men Stand out
Spring is comming and the sun becomes more and more intense. So sunglasses becomes more and more intergrant.
Purple is one of the most popular colors in last year. Men’s purple sunglasses are popular to someone who wants to show out their personality in this season. We have seen actually purple is one of the main stream colors that are used in the sunglasses making in this season. As we know, purple is a color that is favored by more women than men. So men can easily stand out with the bright purple color among men. Actually, purple sunglasses are not only eye-catching but also young. Let's have a review of the fabulous men's purple sunglasses.
Men’s purple sunglasses: different and stylish. Sunglasses are very important to everyone as the role of sunglasses has been changing from functional to ornamental. But sadly, too many sunglasses look the same or similar on one way or another to other sunglasses. It might be awkward to encounter someone with the same or similar sunglasses. So for fashionable men, something needs to be worked out. The best approach may be to choose a special color first as custom sunglasses is too expensive for common people to afford. Fortunately, cheap purple sunglasses are offered in many on online shops. Besides the special color, the clear metal frame is also very trendy. And the aviator-like style might be an innovation. It is after all worth to try.
Men’s purple sunglasses: stylish and special. These sunglasses have deep purple plastic frame that looks like a flower blossoming. Thus, it is very easy to get other people’s attention. Besides that, oversized lenses design is also a trendy element in this season as we know many of the sunglasses now flowing are those with oversized lenses. Actually, oversized sunglasses seem to convey a sense of power and dominance so that many people love it. On the other hand, it seems to make people more mysterious, cool and attractive. What’s more, gradient color is also very trendy in this season. And the lenses are just made in that way. If you really want to be different and fashionable, this is a good option. Or if you are more concerned about the price, finding cheap purple sunglasses online can be worth trying.

5 Purple Hair Care Tips You Must-Know
When I was younger, I didn’t really mean more care for my hair, but now
that I’m older and need a little (salon) help to stay my purple hair care,
there are some extra tricks and steps I do to make sure my hair doesn’t
get damaged, dry out and still looks it’s best.
1) Go to a salon
Sure you can buy bleach kits from the store and generally that’s way cheaper than going to the salon, but some things are just worth the money. Going purple is one of them — for anyone with light to purple hair (especially important if you have purple hair). Your salon professional will ensure you’re getting the right shade without destroying your hair in the process — which is easier to do than you think.
2) Use a purple shampoo
If you’ve ever had purple hair and noticed it kind of turns a brassy color or has a yellow hue to it — it’s common for blondes. I had this issue big time until I found out about the awesome invention — purple shampoo! It contains anti-yellowing agents in it that prevent the unwanted yellow tones that often creep up for blondes. The product I use is SILVER by L’Oreal Professional, but have heard great things about Redkin Blonde Glam Perfect Platinum.
3) Don’t wash your hair every day
For anyone who has color treated hair, washing too much can not only strip your color, but can leave your hair void of any moisturizers. If you’re not naturally purple (even if you just have a few highlights), moisturizer will be your best friend to prevent dryness that comes from bleaching. If you can, wash your hair every third day (or longer if you can stand it). This will help cut down on the drying factor of many shampoos and it’s likely you won’t be using any heat-products like a hair dryer or flat iron which also can dry out your hair.
4) Use a color-protecting shampoo
Color protecting shampoo is a good thing for purples so the shine and color won’t be washed away too quickly. It often has extra moisturizers in it to keep your hair healthy looking and feeling.
5) Use a Coconut Oil Mask
Having blonde hair and making frequent-ish trips to the salon for brightening can do a doozie on your hair. Having a good hydrating mask for your help will help keep your hair soft and manageable instead of dry and brittle. I use a coconut oil on my mask — it’s natural, doesn’t have a smell to it and it’s only one ingredient. Take some coconut oil and rub into your hair. Leave on as long as you’re comfortable with (if you’re not going out, keep it in for a few hours) and then wash out. Your hair will thank you!

My Purple Bracelets and The Whine Culture
Are you a whiner? What is the “whine culture” in your organization? Does it help or hinder the work you do on a daily basis?
As for me, I’m off to buy a purple bracelet.
Several years ago, while facilitating a first-line manager development class, I encountered what I can only describe as a “whiner.” This lady whined about everything. She whined about the room where we had the training - the temperature, the lighting, and the seating arrangements. She whined about the food. She whined about the exercises we asked participants to do, and she whined about her co-workers and managers. By 2 p.m., this became highly irritating – not just to myself and my co-trainer, but also to the other participants. And this was only day one of a 6-day program. We felt lucky that we didn’t have to work with her every day.
Eventually my co-trainer Lesley, who was far more experienced than I, decided to tackle the situation head-on. At around 2:15 p.m., Lesley announced that the next exercise would be to discuss in small groups “how to deal with a whiner.” I can still remember the look on the whiner’s face, as she said: “Oh, this is about me, isn’t it?” Sniggers from the rest of the class confirmed what they were all thinking. Lesley simply smiled at the said whiner, and asked: “Who else deals with whiners at work, and what do we do about it as first-line managers?” The following discussion was instrumental in helping our whiner to identify her behavior and take the first step to change it.
Apparently, “whining” is an issue everywhere. There is even a nonprofit organization called “A Complaint Free World,” which has a mission and vision of promoting positive cooperation across the world.[1] This organization produces purple bracelets which people wear on one wrist. When people find themselves complaining, they have to switch the bracelet to the other wrist. The goal is to keep it on the same wrist for 21 days, which is the time it takes to form (or break) a habit. The whole idea is that not complaining can make a difference to how people feel about themselves, others, and the world. It reminds me a little of the “swear jar” concept, where people have to put money in the jar every time they swear.
Most of us whine at some point or another but when it becomes a part of the organizational culture, it can be destructive. It is obvious how a culture of non-complaining can make a difference to the workplace – people are more energized, there is better and more creative problem solving, better cooperation, and an overall more pleasant and positive working environment.
Unfortunately, while we can work on becoming a non-complainer ourselves, we can’t change someone else. Whiners have to want to stop whining before they can really do it. However, it is worth setting an example and seeing what an impact that can make. Don’t expect it to be easy, though. In an article in “Governing” magazine, Ken Miller explains:
"For me, once I truly realized I needed a complaint-free life, I actually slipped one of those purple bracelets on my right wrist. Again, the goal was to go 21 days without complaining. Each time I complained I was supposed to switch the bracelet to my other wrist. By lunchtime I had nearly broken my bracelet.”
However, several months later Ken did finally manage to break the habit of complaining and found himself a more positive and balanced person. Have you ever had the pleasure of knowing someone who doesn’t ever whine about anything? I have known one or two of those people in my life, and I have to say that they are among the most pleasant people I have ever met. They are positive, happy, well-balanced, and appear to take everything in their stride. When something happens that most of us would react to, they just smile and carry on. They have great perspective. I can only aspire to that!

What is the means of Amethyst Gemstone
Crystalline quartz in shades of purple, lilac or mauve is called amethyst, a stone traditionally worn to guard against drunkeness and to instill a sober mind. The word amethyst comes from the Greek meaning "without drunkenness" and amethyst is believed to protect one from poison. People usually wear amethyst jewelry.
Power Stone
It is used as a dream stone and to help insomnia. Put an amethyst under your pillow to bring about pleasant dreams, or rub it across your forehead to offer relief from a headache.
Protection Stone
Ancient Egyptians used the amethyst guard against guilty and fearful feelings. It has been worn as protection from self-deception, as well as a protection against witchcraft. The amethyst has long been used to open the spiritual and psychic centers, making it one of the power stones. It is also used as a meditation aid when worn as a necklace.
Wisdom Stone
The amethyst is known as the Bishop's Stone and is still worn by Catholic Bishops. The amethyst symbolizes piety, humility, sincerity and spiritual wisdom. It is thought the amethyst is the perfect stone to symbolize The Age of Aquarius.
Healing properties of Amethyst
Amethyst is a gemstone often worn by healers, as it has the power to focus energy. A healer will usually wear several pieces of jewelry with amethysts set in silver, especially an amethyst necklace. The person to be healed will have an Amethyst to hold while the healing is being done. The healer will place another piece of Amethyst on the area of the body in need of healing, the heart or lungs usually.
Amethyst is used for problems in the blood and in breathing problems. Amethyst crystal clusters are used to keep the air and life force in the home clean and positive.
Amethyst clusters, points or several tumbled Amethysts placed in a window that receives sun most of the day are very beneficial to use in healing and to heal negativity in the home. Place Amethyst clusters, points or several tumbled Amethysts in moonlight and everyone in the home will be feeling calmer. Using an Amethyst as a meditation focus will increase the positive spiritual feelings. Amethyst helps overcome fears and cravings. It also helps relieve headaches.
